Cancellation Policy
At Black's BBQ and Catering, we are committed to providing outstanding service while ensuring clarity and fairness in our policies. Please review the following terms for booking, cancellations, and rescheduling for our services, including menu tastings, consultations, and youth cooking classes. --- Booking Policy 1. The deposit amount will be communicated during the booking process. - Deposits are non-refundable under specific circumstances as outlined in the cancellation policy. 3. Written Confirmation: - All bookings and modifications must be submitted in writing via email or an agreed communication platform. - The booking is only confirmed once written acknowledgment is received from our team. 4. Final Payment: - The remaining balance must be paid by the specified due date prior to the event. Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation without refund. --- Cancellation and Reschedule Policy 1. Minimum Notification Requirement: - Cancellations or reschedule requests must be submitted in writing at least **1 week (7 days)** before the scheduled service or event. 2. Cancellations with Less than 1 Week’s Notice: - The customer forfeits any deposit paid. - A cancellation fee of **35% of the service cost** will be charged to cover preparation and administrative expenses. 3. No-Show Policy: - If the customer fails to attend the service or event without prior written notice, **all prior payments are forfeit**, including the deposit. - Customers are not eligible for a refund under these circumstances. 4. Rescheduling Requests: - Reschedule requests made with less than 1 week’s notice are treated as cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation terms. Additional Guidelines - All changes, cancellations, or reschedule requests must be confirmed in writing by our team to be valid. - Deposits and fees help cover preparation costs and secure availability for other clients.
